Independent Software Lab

Built independently.
Evolving for the long run.

DigitalScopeLab is a long-running ecosystem built by one independent developer: precision diagramming, deep technical writing, and global tech intelligence — every product self-built, independently deployed, and connected by contracts.

Ecosystem

One ecosystem, six products

Diagramming, publishing, intelligence, tools, open-source releases, and exam training — six products evolving independently, discovered and connected by one portal.

  1. 01

    DigitalScope Blog

Independent tech publishing: long-term ownership of your writing.

In-depth technical articles and dev journals — careful typography, long-term ownership, written for serious readers.

Blog article page: typography and code highlighting
  2. 02

    DigitalScope Diagram

Software engineering diagrams: generate professional charts from descriptions.

An online diagramming platform — deterministic generation of ER, UML, flowcharts and more from SQL, Java, and script descriptions, with freehand refinement and auto-layout.

Diagram workbench: ER model generated from SQL
  3. 03

    DigitalScope Intelligence

Global tech intelligence: turning noise streams into decision-ready signals.

An AI-driven intelligence platform — multi-source ingestion, four-stage enrichment, a human insight layer, and daily briefs. Not another news aggregator.

  4. 04

    DigitalScope Tools

Practical developer tools, running locally in your browser.

Online utilities for developers: JSON, JWT, YAML, Base64, regex, hashing, and a dozen more — all executed locally in your browser. Your input never leaves the page.

Tools home: the developer tool index
  5. 05

    DigitalScope Open

Release hub for my own projects: readable source, verifiable hashes, instant downloads.

A personal release hub — only the author’s own tools and experiments: bilingual write-ups, browsable source, versioned releases with downloadable packages, each file carrying its sha256. Projects are being added over time.

  1. 06

    研析 YanXi

Smart training on real exam papers for postgraduate candidates.

An intelligent training platform built on real past papers — a question bank, targeted drills, randomized mock assembly, wrong-question review, and ability profiling, with an AI-assisted, human-reviewed grading pipeline.

YanXi practice page: real exam question with answer card

Lab experiments are being prepared — the first batch will ship via DigitalScope Open and appear here. Browse Open Releases

01 · Blog

DigitalScope Blog

Article typography from the live Blog: heading, prose, and list hierarchy
Captured from the live product
Problem
Deep technical writing needs long-term ownership that no platform can take away — and typography worthy of the content.
Solution
A publishing platform of its own: your content stays yours forever, every article is always readable, past versions remain reviewable, and published content is integrity-checked.
  • Dual-theme code highlighting: line numbers, range highlights, one-click copy
  • Native diagrams and math rendering, with serialized article series
  • Full revision history — every step from draft to publish stays traceable
  • Truly bilingual: complete Chinese and English editions, never machine-faked translations
  • Fully static pages — instant loads everywhere
  • Published content carries integrity signatures — verifiably unaltered
  • 9 long-form articles published and counting

02 · Diagram

DigitalScope Diagram

Output from the live Diagram app: ER entities generated from SQL (teachers / courses)
Captured from the live product
Problem
Structural and behavioral diagrams are placed by hand — slow and inconsistent; generic whiteboard tools do not understand software engineering semantics.
Solution
Feed in SQL, Java, or domain scripts and generate correct diagrams in one click; after auto-layout, refine freely on a hand-editing canvas.
  • 10 diagram types: ER (crow's foot + Chen notation), UML class/sequence/use-case/activity, DFD, architecture, flowchart, functional structure
  • Reliable, reproducible output — the same input always produces the same diagram, safe for docs and deliverables
  • One-click auto layout: no crossing lines, no overlapping shapes — then adjust freely by hand
  • Drafts auto-save on your device; optional cloud sync after sign-in; export as SVG / PNG images
  • Continuously updated since June 2025
  • Parsing, layout, and export verified against hundreds of real-world cases
  • Instant input validation — issues are flagged on the spot, not after export

03 · Intelligence

DigitalScope Intelligence

Daily brief from the live Intelligence app: sections and judgment notes
Captured from the live product
Problem
Global tech information is a noise stream: important signals drown in timelines, and source credibility varies wildly.
Solution
Multi-source ingestion plus four-stage AI enrichment (classify / entities / summary / impact) and a human insight layer, producing decision-ready signals and daily briefs.
  • Daily briefs and a signal feed: ranked by importance, not chronology
  • Company / Technology Radar: entity-level trend tracking
  • Knowledge graph: the relation network between companies, technologies, and signals
  • Transparent source-tier labeling with enforced AI/human content separation
  • Live · intelligence and briefs update automatically every day
  • AI and human content clearly separated, source credibility labeled openly
  • Rolling out publicly now — welcome to try it

04 · YanXi

研析 YanXi

Practice page from the live YanXi app: exam question with answer card
Captured from the live product
Problem
Past exam papers are scattered and inconsistent; generic drill tools do not understand real exams — no paper-grade question bank, no per-question grading, and no wrong-answer review loop.
Solution
A paper-grade question bank built on real past exams: automated ingestion with OCR, human-reviewed publishing, targeted drills, randomized assembly, SM-2 wrong-question review, and mastery profiling.
  • Paper-grade question bank: automated ingestion → OCR with formula fidelity → human review
  • Targeted drills: exam → subject → chapter → knowledge point, layer by layer
  • Randomized assembly with anti-memorization shuffling
  • Wrong-question loop: auto-archiving, error tagging, SM-2 spaced review
  • Pluggable AI explanation and grading pipeline; every release is human-reviewed
  • Four clients in sync: web, admin console, mobile app, and desktop
  • Papers archived with provenance; answers and sources dual-checked
